GOPALPUR KRISHI CHETANA is a registered organization, established and promoted by a group of committed young social workers with the aim of serving local communities in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. The organization was officially registered in 2012 under the Society Registration Act, Government of West Bengal—a landmark year that gave legal structure and recognition to its mission.
Since its inception, GOPALPUR KRISHI CHETANA has been actively engaged in the development and upliftment of underprivileged rural communities, with special emphasis on forest-dwelling populations. The wholehearted support of village families has been instrumental in initiating and sustaining various developmental activities.
We strongly believe that true development can only occur when the people it is intended for are actively involved in the process. Hence, we ensure the participation of local residents at every stage—planning, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation—to make our initiatives truly inclusive and impactful.
